We have discovered the Danish spirit.  That’s why we love the idea of IMAGINATION – Discover the Danish Spirit, a summer design experience celebrating Danish culture, lifestyle, food and drink in London.

This VisitDenmark event will be happening from July 27 to August 12 at St Katharine Docks in the heart of London.

“They say that the Danes are the happiest people in the world, so come along and join us and find out why,” says VisitDenmark.

At IMAGINATION – Discover the Danish Spirit, the best of Danish sustainable architecture, interior design, jewellery, green bicycles and more will be spotlighted.

A Danish holiday home will be built with sustainable Danish materials and decorated with Danish furniture and arts and crafts.

IMAGINATION partner LEGO will create a 7-metre wind turbine and a replica of the sports venues from in and around London.

Called a “floating home of the future”, a state-of-the-art Danish houseboat with its carbon neutral lights, heating, and ventilation will also be on display.

Danish clothing company BESTSELLER, which designed the Danish Olympic and Paralympic athletes’ outfits, will share their official collection.

“Design is said to be intelligence made visual, and Denmark is the epicentre of clever and trendy design,” says VisitDenmark.
