We love hotels that have been repurposed. There are so many beautiful examples of hotels with a history in Europe.
In Ireland, the Ice House is a former ice house that has been transformed into an ultra contemporary hotel in Ballina, County Mayo. While in Italy, luxury hotel Il Salviatino, is a restored Renaissance villa and former Florentine palace dating back to 1320.
In Poland, andels Hotel Lodz is a former textile mill on the grounds of the Manufaktura shopping, art and cultural centre in Lodz, Poland.
The red brick, 4-star hotel, now represented by The Collektion Hotels & Resorts, is known for its architecture, colors and forms, glass and textiles, furniture and works of art.

“The design harmonizes wonderfully in contrast with the historic substance of the building, creating a hotel experience with a high level of comfort and artistic attraction,” says The Collektion Hotels & Resorts.
The hotel features 277 design rooms, suites and long-stay apartments, a conference and events centre, state-of-the-art equipment and a ballroom.
