Scandic Grand Central is “infused with downtown Stockholm’s street life and the pulsating atmosphere”, says the hotel.
This hotel offers travelers 391 rooms, conference facilities, gym, restaurant, bistro and a large hotel bar/lounge open to the public.
Originally known as “The Lundberg Palace”, the renovated historic building dates back to 1885 when it was constructed by building master CO Lundberg.
Scandic Grand Central is on the historic corner of Stockholm’s tourist-friendly streets Vasagatan and Kungsgatan. A popular Stockholm hotel street, Vasagatan’s hotel rooms has expanded to 4,000 rooms with this new Scandic addition.
The hotel is a short walk from Stockholm’s Central Station, trains, subway, buses and the Arlanda Airport Express.
