There are many Earth Hour events planned worldwide. Now there’s an Earth Hour spa treatment in Hong Kong.
That’s right, the Fire and Ice special Earth Hour treatment is being offered at Chuan Spa at Langham Place Hotel Hong Kong until March 31, 2010. Besides the spa experience, guests will like that $150 from each session will be donated to the WWF for their global warming campaign.
Says Sheryl Wan, manager, Chuan Spa:
“The fire and ice theme came about after we looked at the impact of global warming on earth – we see weather extremities like never before. The hot stones and iced gems are symbolic of these environmental changes – but also central to the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.”
The 90-minute treatment will be created in consultation with Traditional Chinese Medicine therapists. This full body, face and scalp treatment will focus on balance between yin and yang through the use of hot stones, deep massage and iced crystal gemstones.
