Socks are a popular Christmas gift and stocking stuffer.  What’s an even better gift is a greener sock, like the stylish ones made by the U.S. company Goodhew.

Recently, the company sent traveling greener a couple pairs of their women’s merino wool and bamboo socks to review.  Perfect for travel or business casual days, these Goodhew socks are keepers for their comfortably soft and superior fit.  Their products are constructed almost exclusively from natural and renewable materials including wool, bamboo, cotton and alpaca.

Goodhew is committed to maintaining the smallest carbon footprint possible and reducing their environmental impact.   Their packaging is printed on recycled paper stock and fully recyclable.

The company says it packs its products in recyclable poly bags which reduces product weight and space in shipping, minimizing the space requirements on trucks and reducing the fuel requirements to deliver their products.
