Harrison Ford and Hamilton create new watches in support of Team Earth.

Harrison Ford has teamed up with Hamilton to create new watch collection Hamilton Khaki Team Earth.

The collection is geared towards supporting Team Earth, a Conservation International (CI) convened coalition.

Team Earth is committed to inspiring personal and collective action to protect the environment via the worldwide web.

A portion of the watch proceeds will support Team Earth’s global call to address climate change, water, food, health and waste.

Says Harrison Ford:

“The first collection we created together with Hamilton proved a success. And Hamilton, by supporting CI’s mission, is helping to achieve major conservation outcomes.”

This stylish stainless steel watch has khaki-colored numbering set against a black background.

It has a Swiss-made automatic movement and resistance to magnetic fields.

The case back is closed, engraved with the words, “It’s time to DO”, and signed by Harrison Ford.

A member of Swatch group, Hamilton manufactures and distributes watches with 160 Swiss production sites.

In Hollywood, the brand has a strong profile with products appearing in 350+ films.

Cool Green Travel Essential

Bobble Black yellow splash 1024x949 Cool Green Travel Essential

The reusable water bottle is now a green travel essential.  One of the coolest, filtering water bottles we’ve seen lately is the bobble (above).

Fresh and stylish, the bobble was designed by renowned industrial designer Karim Rashid.

Says Richard Smiedt, founder, Move Collective:

“We all love bottled water. But our bottled water habits are simply unsustainable, both from an ecological perspective and as a matter of financial common sense. We set out to design a bottle that would improve the taste of tap water to the point where consumers could turn on their faucet, rather than open their wallet.”

The company says the bobble is made from recycled plastic and free of BPA, Phthalates and PVC and removes chlorine and organic contaminants from municipal tap water.

Currently, the bobble is available at The Container Store and online.
