Are you a movie-loving traveler?  Netflix has launched a new free app for the iPhone and iPod touch.

The app allows Netflix members, who are on plans starting at $8.99 a month, to watch selected TV episodes and movies streamed to their iPhone or iPod touch at no additional cost.

California-based shopkick has launched a new American iPhone shopping app.

The location-based shopkick iPhone app allows shoppers to start earning awards for just visiting stores.

Retail partners include American Eagle Outfitters, Best Buy, Macy’s, Simon Property Group and The Sports Authority.  Rewards and offers are live now in all partner store locations in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Blue Ocean Institute has launched a free FishPhone iPhone App which is now available for download in the App Store.

Whether you’re dining out or cooking yourself, the iPhone app will provide you with sustainable seafood choices, wine pairings and recipes.

Blue Ocean Institute partnered with Brancott Vineyards to develop the FishPhone iPhone app.  Brancott is one of the founding members of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand.

You can download the app on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad by searching for ‘FishPhone’ in the App Store.

The guides are designed to help travelers plan their itinerary, guide them around cities and describe tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels and more.

Currently, the city guides are available for:  London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Barcelona, New York, San Francisco and Chicago.
