Adrian Grenier, star of the hit HBO Series “Entourage,” swam with bluefin tuna in the Atlantic.

Grenier was partnering with Oceana in their bluefin tuna campaign Going Fast.  Experts say, in the Western Atlantic, bluefin tuna populations have been reduced by more than 82 percent as a result of overfishing.

Says Grenier:

“I couldn’t sit back idly while this amazing predator is being pushed to the brink of extinction. We are fishing bluefin at alarming rates, and now their spawning grounds are also threatened by the oil spill in the Gulf. We need to take action and keep the bluefin from going fast.”

Founded by the Vancouver Aquarium in January 2005, the program gives consumers and travelers information on making smart seafood choices.
