New Luxury Walking Holidays

Auswalk will launch new 2011 luxury walking holidays in western Australia and Flinders Island.

In 2011, Auswalk plans 19 self-guided, inn-to-inn and group-guided walks in tropical rainforests, alpine regions, coastlines and mountain ranges throughout Australia.

The new, self-guided, inn-to-inn walk in western Australia’s Margaret River region will offer coastal hiking along one of the state’s longest walking trails.

Highlights of the 135-km, Cape-to-Cape walk will be historical landmarks, coastline scenery, secluded coves, wilderness and wildflowers.

The new, group-guided Flinders Island walk, off Tasmania’s northeast coast, will explore the highest peak of the island Mt Strzelecki.

Highlights will include coastal hiking, rocky headlands, sandy beaches, organic food and wildlife viewing.
